1. Do you have a healthy canteen?
Yes, our canteen has tasty, healthy food.
We also have a Cafe for use by senior students only which provides a comfortable, warm in winter/cool in summer venue for senior students to sit and have something to eat or drink before school, at recess and lunch. 2. Can I pay fees or excursions with EFTPOS?
Yes. The school does have facilities to accept VISA OR MASTERCARD, EFTPOS and of course cheques and cash payments. Ask your student to collect a "Credit Authority" form from the front office for you to complete and sign and return with the student for payments. Students are expected to pay for their fees or excursions at the front office either before school or at the recess break.
It is also possible to pay for excursions and fees online using our secure web site. 3. How much are the school fees for my child?
Varies with elective choices: you will be invoiced generally by end of Term 1 or early Term 2. Fees document can be downloaded from the DOCUMENTS AND POLICIES area. 4. When is the next issue of e-xplorer Newsletter due to be distributed?
Generally the newsletter is uploaded onto our website on a fortnightly basis during weeks 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 of each term. An email is forwarded to each person on our Mailing List which indicates how to download the document. 5. How do I find out about school events?
School and faculty events will be posted on our web page, calendar and in the e-xplorer Newsletter. Click on "calendar" on the left to find details of current and future events. 6. How can I make an appointment to see a teacher?
Teachers make their own appointments directly with parents. You can ring the school on 4739 4655 and if the respective teacher is not currently available, we'll take your name and phone number and ask the teacher to contact you to make an appointment time convenient to both parties. 7. What are the start and finish times?
Monday 9.00am to 3.30pm.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.02am to 3.28pm
Wednesday 8.55am to 2.25pm.
Senior students may have Period O classes which start at 8.00am each day; except Wednesdays which start at 7.55am. 8. What are recess and lunch times?
Monday recess is 10.30am-10.50am and lunch is 12.50pm-1.30pm. On Wednesdays, sport day, recess is 10.05am-10.25am and lunch break is 11.45am-12.25pm. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday recess is 10.24am to 10.46am and lunch is 12.46pm to 1.28pm.
Wednesday is sport day and early finish day. Classes end at 2.25pm to allow the teachers to meet for full staff meetings. 9. What are the prices in the school canteen?
